The Plitvice Lakes are one of the world's most famous national parks. This beauty is widely written and talked about, but in fact no photo, video or text can prepare you for all that you will see in Plitvice with your own eyes.

Plitvice is beautiful at any time of the year, so you can't go wrong if you visit it more than once. Keep in mind that the peak season is during the summer, when it is the most crowded and the tickets are the most expensive. In winter, however, not all parts of the Park are open, the Lower Lakes are open, while the Upper Lakes are closed, and they mostly open at the beginning of April.

How to buy tickets to Plitvice Lakes National Park?

The number of daily tickets is limited therefore they are bought online for the selected date and, what is important, for the exact time of entry. Tickets can only be purchased in advance, at least one day before the desired date of arrival. 

After buying the tickets, it will be sent to your e-mail address, and you can print it or save it in your mobile device. 

The ticket price for Plitvice Lakes National Park depends on the season and the type of ticket you want to buy. In the main tourist season, from mid-April to the end of October, the ticket price is slightly more expensive than in the off-season. Ticket prices also differ depending on whether you are an adult, a child, a student, a pensioner, or a group. Currently, ticket prices for adults range from HRK 180 to HRK 300, depending on the type of ticket and the season, while the prices for children aged 7 to 18 are slightly lower.
